Josie Hughes

During Josie’s acting career she was a member of the Theatre Centre company, run by Brian Way. She performed at the famous Minack open air theatre in Penzance, and worked with the Shiva Theatre Company.

She is also a singer/songwriter, and has sung at the Cornish Proms and recorded a CD of her songs. She is currently developing interactive music and poetry workshops for the elderly in care homes, encouraging them to be actively involved in music, movement and singing. She has also trained as a leader of community choirs. From her home in Falmouth Josie teaches voice pupils of all ages and abilities, including those with speech problems.
