The head rather than the throat
The theory of White’s Technique differs radically from the conventional view that the voice is produced by the vocal cords (more correctly known as vocal folds).
After years of extensive research Ernest George White came to the revolutionary conclusion that the voice is basically produced in the head, and he stressed the vital role played by the head sinuses.
There is interesting supporting evidence for White’s theory, both academic and scientific. In the end, though, it is the highly successful practical results produced by using his technique that are of greatest importance.
